About the Author
Writing is defined as, "The activity or skill of marketing coherent words on paper and composing text." I would definitely define myself as a writer, even though I am not a published author (other than on Wattpad). Writing is something that anyone can do, but that a lot of people see as something that they can't do. You don't need any particular skills for it, but basic grammar would be nice (Lest you risk annoying any readers you may have). As far as topic, you just have to write about something that makes you happy. Lots of people would tell you to write what you know, but I suggest that you write what you don't know. Fiction writing is one of those beautiful things that let you create a whole new world. If you like to write, then keep reading, if not, then I hope I haven't wasted too much of your time.

I should introduce myself, my name is Sarah. I live in a very small town, and you'll be able to see that come through in my writing, based on how I avoid using them. I have been an avid reader since I was little, and I begun to write as soon as they had taught me what a narrative was. However I have had a hard time writing short stories (Which I think is kind of funny, because isn't that one of the first things they have you write?), or even just finding a good ending point for a novel. I have yet to finish writing one of my novels (I only call them novels because I have nothing else to call them, they are too long to be anything else) and I am currently working on almost ten. I think of something to write about, but then as I am continuing off of my original idea, I think of something else so I start another story. That is why I have so many different stories that I'm working on.
If you want to check out my tumblr blog, you can find it to the right.
Also, if you want to go read the things I've written then that can be found to the right as well. I decided that I wanted to start this blog after my French teacher had us all make a blog where we would talk about French related things. If you want to check that out, you can also find the link to the right. I also started a blog about the beautiful country of Norway (Even though I live in America. At least my great-grandparents are from Norway.), which you can find to the right as well. |
